Police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon crash between a car and a Mansfield school bus that was carrying approximately 30 students, Mansfield police said.

Officers responded to the collision at the intersection of Balcom and Otis Streets around 2:10 p.m., Mansfield police said in a press release . Though the bus was taking dozens of middle and high school students home at the time, neither the bus driver nor any students reported being injured.

Firefighters took the other driver involved in the crash — a 17-year-old North Attleborough girl — to a local hospital as a precaution, police said. After the collision, the students were transferred to another bus to be transported home, and Mansfield Public Schools notified families of the incident.
