As Oklahoma inches closer to the 121st Red River Rivalry, all eyes remain on quarterback John Mateer and the status of his injured thumb. While Brent Venables and offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle have avoided giving a definitive answer, Toby Rowland believes the signs point toward Mateer suiting up on Saturday in Dallas.

Mateer Listed as Questionable

On the initial SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report that came out on Wednesday night, Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer was listed as questionable. Wide receiver Keontez Lewis was also listed as questionable. Offensive lineman Logan Howland was listed as doubtful.
