Temple University RA's and Peer Mentors voted to join union, OPEIU Local 153

Temple University's Resident Assistants and Peer Mentors have voted to unionize. The undergraduate student workers agreed to join OPEIU Local 153 by a unanimous vote. Resident assistants and peer mentors are hired by the university to live in the residence halls and assist with student life. Union members want to address compensation, support systems, and the overall work environment.
