CRAWFORD, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) -- The Crawford County Sheriff's Office has fired a nearly two-year veteran deputy for alleged on-duty 'inappropriate conduct'.
Deputy Ian Kasemeyer has been terminated following an open internal investigation into conduct in a social media video that violated the department's policies.
As we previously reported, Kasemeyer was placed on administrative leave after the deputy's on-duty actions prompted a full investigation. The department began investigating on October 5th, after allegations of inappropriate conduct came to light.
