GALLATIN, Tenn. (WSMV) - The city of Gallatin held a meeting to get public feedback on a downtown redevelopment plan.

The plan is called “Project Phoenix,” and would include new residential and mixed-use buildings along with a new park, parking deck and a potential new city hall and fire department headquarters.

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.

The concept of Project Phoenix was developed by Historical Concepts, an architecture and planning firm.

All of the feedback collected during Wednesday’s meeting will be put into a report and will be presented to the City Council by Nov. 11.

Officials also said they are working to have a development plan for the project by the first quarter of next year.
