LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Comedians are having quite the year at the KFC Yum! Center, as another one just set a new attendance record.

Back in August, comedian Shane Gillis broke the arena's record with 14,500 fans coming out to see him perform.

His record was short-lived, as Nate Bargatze set a new record at his show on Oct. 4. Bargatze drew in a crowd of 19,000 fans, smashing Gillis' record.

Both Bargatze and Gillis' shows were in front of sold-out crowds.

Officials with the arena said these milestones reveal a bigger trend: comedy shows growing in popularity, with more comedians performing at arenas and drawing in bigger crowds.
