Sincere kudos to all 16 of those formally inducted into the Luzerne County Arts & Entertainment Hall of Fame on Saturday. All Hall of Famers are just that, Hall of Famers, and there is an equality that comes with that recognition. The name of Florence Foster Jenkins languished in obscurity for decades, even in her hometown of Wilkes-Barre. We doubt many people knew she was not only born in the Luzerne County seat, but also buried there, in the Hollenback Cemetery.
