NEBRASKA (KCAU) — China typically buys around 40% of all soybeans grown in the United States, but the ongoing issue with tariffs and the Trump administration's wanting countries to pay more for American goods has made it cheaper for countries to go elsewhere.
Last week, the U.S. government announced that it would be sending $20 billion to bail out Argentina's government. As a result, the country removed export taxes on soybeans, and sold a quarter of its crop to China.
