YOUNGSTOWN Officers with the Youngstown Police Department were on the scene of a crash on Interstate 680 near Youngstown.

Officials with the police department told 21 News that a call came in around 7:46 p.m. on Wednesday for a car versus motorcycle crash.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital in "serious condition."

Officials blocked off the Northbound lane of Interstate 680 in the area of Meridian Road while responders were on scene, and traffic was being directed to the 7/11 connector.

The Northbound lane has since reopened as of 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
