Jaguar shot in face, head rescued in Brazil

A wounded #jaguar that was found swimming in the Rio Negro in #Brazil was rescued by officials. According to local reports, the jaguar had been shot multiple times and had more than 30 pieces of shrapnel in its face, head and neck. Despite its injuries, the jaguar was in stable condition and was treated at a clinic in Manaus before being transferred to a zoo, one report said. #rescue
