ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Water has been restored to hundreds of homes in the Buckhead area after crews completed repairs on a broken water main Wednesday night.
The Department of Watershed Management had to turn the water off for hours as crews worked to fix the 8-inch line at Paces Place NW & Paces Ferry Road NW in Atlanta.
The department said around 500 homes and four apartment complexes were impacted by the outage. Two fire hydrants were also turned off during the repair.

“Luckily, we had just enough to do what we needed to do,” said Jonathan Ray, a neighbor.
