WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The family of a Stafford woman is suing Trinity Health, which oversees Saint Francis Hospital, claiming a delay in care left her permanently disabled and dependent on long-term nursing care.
The lawsuit filed by West Hartford Attorney Julianne Klaassen, of RisCassi & Davis, P.C., claims then 52-year-old Samantha Shegogue suffered cardiac arrest after waiting more than six hours in the emergency department at Saint Francis Hospital in December 2023.
