MONONA, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dane County community packed all three Salvatore’s Tomato Pies locations Wednesday night to support Officer Ryan Kimberley and his K-9 partner, Freddie, after they were both injured in a crash last week.
Chef and owner Patrick DePula said the turnout was so strong that the restaurant had to temporarily pause online orders. Customers ordered a special Officer Kimberley Pizza, — topped with Italian sausage, roasted peppers, onions and goat cheese — with $10 from every pizza sold donated to the officer’s recovery fund.
