MONONA, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dane County community packed all three Salvatore’s Tomato Pies locations Wednesday night to support Officer Ryan Kimberley and his K-9 partner, Freddie, after they were both injured in a crash last week.

Chef and owner Patrick DePula said the turnout was so strong that the restaurant had to temporarily pause online orders. Customers ordered a special Officer Kimberley Pizza, — topped with Italian sausage, roasted peppers, onions and goat cheese — with $10 from every pizza sold donated to the officer’s recovery fund.

“Yeah, we’ve been slammed since we opened today at 4 at all three locations,” DePula said. “We’re super happy that we were able to participate and offer support. It’s not only financial, but it’s just the community’s way of saying we care. And we car
