HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Big Island girls volleyball season is nearing its end with just a handful of matches left to make a playoff push.

One of those teams looking to end the year on a high note are the Honoka’a Dragons.

The Dragons host Kealakehe Thursday for Senior Night.

A team Honokaa faced in the third game of the year — a four-set win for the Waveriders.

Since then, the Dragons have relied on the play of senior middle blocker Telia Laeli to notch a 5-7 mark on the season.
