Former Red Sox pitcher Quinn Priester failed to make it out of the first inning for the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 3 of the NLDS on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old right-handed starter recorded just two outs against the Cubs, allowing four runs, three hits and two walks while striking out one.

The Brewers are ahead 2-0 in the best-of-five series, but they trail 4-2 in the sixth inning of Game 3.

Priester allowed a 377-foot, 108.5 home run to leadoff hitter Michael Busch. Pete Crow-Armstrong’s two-out, two-run single knocked Priester out of the game.

The Red Sox traded Priester to Milwaukee on April 7 for outfield prospect Yophery Rodriguez , right-handed prospect John Holobetz and a Competitive Balance Round A pick (33rd overall) in the 2025 draft. Boston drafted Tennessee righty Marcus P
