Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (1) passes against the Denver Broncos in the second quarter at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Philadelphia Eagles (4-1) and the New York Giants (1-4) meet on Thursday Night Football at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Let's analyze BetMGM Sportsbook's Eagles vs. Giants odds and tab the 5 best prop bets to win among SportsbookWire's expert NFL picks and predictions for Week 6.

The Eagles suffered their first loss of the season in Week 5, falling 21-17 to the Denver Broncos as 4-point home favorites with the Under (44.5) cashing. RB Saquon Barkley had a quiet day on the ground, managing just 30 yards on 6 carries, but did have a 47-yard touchdown reception — his longest play of the season.

The Giants dropped their fourth game in 5 weeks, losing 26-14 to the New Orleans Saints as 2.5-point road underdogs with the Under (42) cashing. Rookie QB Jaxson Dart showed flashes of promise, throwing for 202 yards and 2 TDs, but costly mistakes proved too much to overcome. Dart tossed 2 INTs, contributing to New York’s 5 total turnovers.

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley OVER 18.5 RUSH ATTEMPTS (-105)

This one feels like a perfect storm — or maybe a perfect revenge game. Barkley’s facing his old team, and after an unusually quiet Week 5 where he barely touched the ball, you just know he’s itching to remind the Giants what they let walk out the door.

Before that dip, Barkley had 18+ carries in 4 of his first 5 games, and he’s still the heart of Philly’s offense. The matchup couldn’t be better, either. The Giants are giving up 5.3 yards per carry, which is basically an open invitation for the Eagles to pound the rock all night.

On a short week, with a chance to control the tempo, it makes too much sense for Philly to feed Barkley early and often. Throw in that extra motivation against his former team, and I think he gets plenty of opportunities to hit that number — and then some. Give me the Over on Barkley’s rush attempts all day.

Giants QB Jaxson Dart OVER 0.5 INTERCEPTIONS (-135)

This feels like one of the smarter bets on the slate. The Giants’ rookie has already shown turnover issues, tossing 2 picks in just his second career start, and now he faces a Philadelphia defense that ranks ninth in EPA per pass. That’s not a good combo for a young QB still learning NFL speed.

The Eagles’ defense thrives on pressure and disguising coverages, the exact formula that trips up rookies like Dart. If the Giants fall behind — which feels likely — he’ll be forced to throw more, raising the odds of at least 1 mistake. Between the defensive matchup, game script, and Dart’s early turnover trend, I’m betting on at least 1 pick Thursday night. This Over feels too good to pass up.

  • EAGLES AT GIANTS: Odds, picks and predictions

Giants WR Wan'Dale Robinson OVER 5.5 RECEPTIONS (+110)

The Giants’ receiver room is thin right now, with Malik Nabers out for the year and Darius Slayton dealing with an injury, which leaves Robinson as the clear top option in the passing game. When a rookie QB like Dart needs someone he can trust, he’s going to keep feeding the guy who gets open fast — and that’s Robinson.

He’s already topped this number in 3 games, including 7 targets last week, and his role just keeps growing. The Eagles’ defense can bring heat, so expect a lot of quick throws and checkdowns — exactly where Robinson does his best work.

If the Giants fall behind, the game script will force them to air it out, and Robinson should pile up catches in the process. Between the volume, matchup, and his growing chemistry with Dart, the Over feels like the smart side to be on here.

Giants RB Cam Skattebo OVER 2.5 RECEPTIONS (+115)

Skattebo has quietly turned into more than just a bruising runner. With Tyrone Tracy Jr. sidelined, he’s taken over as the Giants’ lead back and has shown real chops as a receiver. In recent games, he’s caught 6 of 7 targets for 45 yards in one outing and 6 of 8 for 61 yards in another — proof that the coaching staff trusts him in the passing game.

Against a tough Eagles defense that brings pressure and often forces quick throws, Skattebo should be a key check-down option for Dart. If, or when, the Giants fall behind, Dart’s going to be dumping it off early and often.

The Eagles have struggled against pass-catching running backs, and Skattebo’s versatility gives him every chance to take advantage. He’s gone over this number in 2 of his last 3 games, and the game script screams more of the same. At plus money, this Over feels like a smart — and fun — play.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts ANYTIME TOUCHDOWN (-135)

Honestly, this might be my favorite play of the game. Hurts is always a threat to run the ball in, especially in short-yardage situations. The “tush push” isn’t just a meme anymore — it’s practically an automatic touchdown machine.

Through 5 games this season, Hurts already has 4 rushing touchdowns, and that’s no accident. When the Eagles get near the goal line, everyone in the stadium knows what’s coming — and yet, nobody can stop it. Philly’s offensive line is built for power, and Hurts’ combination of strength and awareness makes him nearly unstoppable inside the five.

The Giants’ defense hasn’t shown much resistance this year, and mobile quarterbacks have given them fits. If the Eagles move the ball efficiently (and they should), Hurts will get his chances to punch one in himself. Whether it’s a designed QB sneak or a scramble when the pocket collapses, the path to the end zone is wide open.

Simply put, betting on Hurts to score isn’t betting on luck — it’s betting on a trend that’s worked all season.
