Anmeet P Kumar, IAS officer and wife of late Haryana Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Y Puran Kumar , has filed a formal complaint against Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Singh Kapur and Rohtak Superintendent of Police (SP) Narendra Bijarniya, accusing them of abetting her husband’s suicide.

The complaint, filed under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, which deals with abetment to suicide, also invokes provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Anmeet Kumar has demanded the immediate registration of an FIR and the arrest of the two senior officers.
