LEWISBURG, Ky. (WBKO) - If you were to drive around Logan County this week, you may stumble upon a few fun hay bales. In fact, there are dozens, and one family in particular has been participating in this tradition for a decade.

For the Hay Bale Trail, community members are encouraged to look at the different hay bales throughout Logan County and vote for their favorites.

The competition is separated by category of the hay bale being from a nonprofit, business or a family.

Executive director of Logan County Tourism Dee Dee Brown has watched this tradition grow.

“It’s just very creative and very artistic to see the thoughts and ideas people have and have that avenue to be able to display it once a year,” Brown says.
