Gene Simmons has insisted "all is well" after he was involved in a car crash this week.
On Tuesday, a representative for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported that the KISS frontman's Lincoln Navigator collided with a parked car on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California.
After a bystander called emergency services, police officers and firefighters responded to the scene.
Gene reportedly told deputies that he had fainted or passed out before losing control of the large SUV.
The 76-year-old was taken to hospital to be checked over.
But after news of the crash made headlines, Gene took to X on Wednesday to assure fans that he was "completely fine".
"Thanks, everybody, for the kind wishes. I'm completely fine. I had a slight fender bender," he wrote. "It happens. Especially to those of us (who are) horrible drivers. And that's me. All is well."
Meanwhile, Gene's wife, Shannon Tweed, confirmed to NBC4 Investigates that the rock legend was now recovering at home.
She noted that his doctor had recently changed his medications and had urged him to stay hydrated.
