How does a team bounce back from its first loss of the season to a Pennsylvania-based team?

For Palmyra field hockey, the answer is with a resounding win.

The Cougars rolled to a shutout 7-0 victory over Bishop McDevitt on Wednesday in Mid-Penn Conference Keystone Division action at Harrisburg.

Both Jovie Weaver and Ella Detwiler scored two goals; Weaver also provided an assist.

Palmyra now stands at 13-2 and is the top-rated team in District 3 Class 2A. The Cougars picked up their first loss of the season to Manheim Township on Monday, losing 3-2.
