A Gurugram-based woman has warned others on Reddit to be cautious with cab drivers after sharing her disturbing experience during a recent ride.

On the subreddit r/Gurgaon, the woman cautioned, “Girls, please think twice before being nice to cab drivers!”

In her post, the woman recounted that she had booked a cab in Gurgaon and found the driver polite and professional.

“He re-routed without hassle when roads were blocked. I paid him on the app, and as I was walking home, I thought I should tip him since he was a good service provider. So I sent Rs 100 to his number,” she said.

However, moments later, the driver returned the money but started messaging her on WhatsApp soon after.
