Two seperate motorways have been plunged into chaos at the height of rush hour after a crash caused the M60 to be "partially blocked".

The incident is said to have taken place near Denton Island, causing delays on the M60 clockwise this morning, according to Inrix.

Queues are going back past junction 23 at Ashton-under-Lyne, and there's also traffic on the M67 westbound, approaching Denton Island. 07:31 Zahra Khaliq

'Slow traffic due to accident' on M60

Traffic monitoring site Inrix said the M60 clockwise is "partially blocked" with "slow traffic due to accident from J24 A57 (Denton Island) to J25 A560 Crookilley Way (Brinnington)." 07:24 KEY EVENT
