OREGON CITY Ore. (KPTV) - A Molalla man is facing about nine and a half years in prison for robbery, stealing a car, hit-and-run and identity theft, the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office said on Wednesday.
According to the DA’s office, 31-year-old Alex James Raphun was facing charges for three separate cases in Clackamas County for incidents that happened in the spring of 2022 and 2023.
The first incident happened in June 2022, when Raphun sideswiped two parked cars in Milwaukie. One person was hurt, and a witness asked Raphun to call 911.
Raphun said the call wasn’t needed and walked away.
When police found him and searched his backpack, they found checks made out to other people, blank checks that had been reported stolen, and a pawn slip and a debit card belonging to other
