Troubled Western Bulldogs star Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has fronted the Gold Coast Suns leadership group and made a commitment to get back to AFL standards as a move north inches closer.
Gold Coast list boss Craig Cameron also declared the Norm Smith medallist Christian Petracca would become “that powerful player again” at the Suns as they work with Melbourne on a trade deal to add him to their group.
After making finals for the first time in club history in 2025, and winning an elimination final in Perth, the Suns are making a formidable impact on the AFL’s trade period with the chance of adding both Ugle-Hagan and Petracca to their stocks.
They have lost Sam Flanders to St Kilda but been rewarded with a top-10 pick in the draft that could prove crucial in getting Petraca to the club.
