Mumbai, Oct 09: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Mumbai to strengthen India-UK strategic ties. The meeting, involving a significant trade delegation from the UK, aimed to enhance the economic partnership for mutual prosperity.

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal emphasized discussions on operationalizing the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and doubling trade by 2030.

Both sides committed to effective implementation of the Agreement, exploring opportunities in advanced manufacturing, digital trade, clean energy, and services, while addressing regulatory cooperation and supply chain integration for optimal benefit.
