Geelong has made an extraordinary move in its bid to prise gun key forward Charlie Curnow out of Carlton, offering the Blues three first-round draft picks for the dual Coleman Medallist.

Geelong and Sydney are both chasing the signature of the 28-year-old, whose desire to leave Carlton has been public knowledge for weeks.

Geelong superstar Bailey Smith posted on Instagram on Thursday a picture of himself and Curnow training together. Advertisement

The Cats are wanting Curnow to form a dangerous partnership with Jeremy Cameron in the coming years, much in the same way that Cameron and Tom Hawkins wreaked havoc at Geelong in recent seasons.
