Prep roundup: Bellaire, Mancelona claim SVC XC titles; TC Central tennis qualifies for state finals; Grayling, Leland, Suttons Bay win district games

MANCELONA — Everyone wants to become a champion, but only one school was able to cross the finish line to place in first.

The Mancelona boys and Bellaire girls cross country teams placed first overall at the Ski Valley Conference championships Wednesday in Mancelona. The Ironmen finished with 25 points overall, followed by East Jordan, Ellsworth and Onaway.
