A 67-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Genesee County that involved a delivery truck hauling propane.

According to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred at South Street Road and Route 20 in Pavilion just before 2 p.m. on Oct. 8. Larry Singer, 67 of Leicester, Livingston County, was driving a car south on South Street Road when he failed to yield the right of way to the westbound truck, driven by Howard Kreutter, 59, of Warsaw, Wyoming County.

The car was struck by the truck at the intersection and crashed into a utility pole before stopping north on the intersection, deputies said. The truck overturned onto its side south of the intersection.

Singer was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
