Kitchen havoc is unleashed in “Family Meal,” an interactive theater show with a fancy, six-course meal.

The production is equally influenced by “King Lear” and “The Bear,” yet pulls from the real-life experiences of its chef co-creator.

Most fine-dining experiences want to remove the chaos, aiming to create a seamlessly elegant night out. “Family Meal,” however, wants to lay it on.
