Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg chaired a high-level review meeting today, to assess progress on two tourism projects under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) scheme.

Senior officials from the Government of Odisha and the Tourism Department participated in the session.

The Tourism Secretary presented the Hirakud Master Plan, outlining project details, site sensitivities, and required clearances. Officials discussed the Water and Light Symphony, which will narrate the story of the Mahanadi River, the creation of the Hirakud Dam, and its present-day significance.
