New Delhi, Oct 9: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting to review the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Deka, J&K Police Chief Nalin Prabhat, CRPF DG G.P. Singh, BSF DG Daljit Singh Chawdhary, and other senior officials from the centre and Union territory.

Officials stated that the discussion focused on security arrangements in the Pir Panjal region as well as ongoing developmental projects in J&K. The last such review was chaired by Shah on September 1.
