Most of us woke to a frosty morning today across Michigan. And while we will see sunshine and warming temperatures, there is also a widespread rain in the forecast as we head into Friday.

Here are the forecast highlights from the National Weather Service offices across Michigan:

We should prepare for another chilly night with widespread frost potential and rain expected to arrive Friday.

A frost advisory remains in effect for much of Michigan, with temperatures expected to drop into the mid-30s overnight. Temperatures will gradually warm during the day, reaching the upper 50s to low 60s.

A significant weather system will bring widespread light to moderate rain Friday night and continuing into Saturday morning.
