Kasaragod: A mini tempo transporting fish caught fire and was completely gutted on the Kasaragod–Mangaluru National Highway near Mogral Puthur on Sunday afternoon.

The vehicle was travelling from Pattambi in Kerala to Ullal when the incident occurred. The entire tempo was destroyed in the fire.

The driver, identified as Fazil, escaped safely without any injuries.
