Markets staged a strong comeback on Thursday, with benchmark indices reversing the previous session’s losses, as metal stocks surged on rising global commodity prices and pharmaceutical shares gained after clarity on US tariff policy. The Nifty 50 advanced 135.65 points, or 0.54 per cent, to close at 25,181.80, while the BSE Sensex climbed 398.44 points, or 0.49 per cent, to settle at 82,172.10.
