If you’re not keen on “roughing it” but still want to immerse yourself in nature, Pennsylvania state parks will offer that chance starting next year.
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced Wednesday that eight state parks, including two within about an hour and a half of Pittsburgh, will offer “glamping” — short for “glamorous camping” — in 2026.
DCNR has set up 61 sites for reservations next year.
“These are truly places where adventure feels like home,” DCNR Secretary Cindy Adams Dunn said in a statement.
