Ernakulam: Its good news for all those Malayalis who makes recurrent travel to and from Bangalore. In a major relief for the passengers, the much-demanded Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat service was announced by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav.

When the special Vande Bharat tri-weekly service on the route was discontinued in 2024, around the Onam season, the move drew flak from commuters and people’s representatives alike. At the time, the train was reportedly suspended because the authorities had not issued a notification to extend it. However, the railways had mentioned that the service can resume after revising the departure time from Bengaluru. Now, as per the latest reports, there are slight changes in the timings of the re-launched service. Here are the details.
