The New York Giants are 1-4 heading into their next game against the Philadelphia Eagles, who just suffered their first loss of the season. And head coach Brian Daboll isn’t handing out any freebies. On The Coach Daboll Show, he was real about the five turnovers they had in Week 5 against the Saints.
Daboll said, “When you turn the ball over five times and don’t get any turnovers, it’s close to 0% chance of getting what you want to get, which is a W.” Jaxson Dart made some good plays, sure, but that fumble? A costly mistake. Daboll’s bottom line: “I thought the quarterback did a lot of good things. Obviously, he’d like to have that fumble back. But we got to do a better job of protecting the ball.”
