: A total of 2,53,624 people, including 1,24,108 men, 1,29,495 women and 21 people of the third gender, are eligible to exercise their franchise in the November 11 by-election to Nuapada assembly constituency in Odisha, a senior poll official said Thursday.

State Chief Electoral Officer RS Gopalan released the final voter list of Nuapada after holding a meeting with all parties here.

The final voter list includes 9,429 first-time voters, 3,988 persons with disabilities and 1,786 people aged above 85 years.

As many as 56 new booths have been set up for the by-election as per the guideline of the Election Commission of India capping the number of voters per booth at 1,200, the CEO said.

The total number of polling stations in Nuapada will be 358, he said.
