New year, same old Las Vegas Raiders .

Despite some big offseason moves, including hiring Pete Carroll and Chip Kelly and trading for Geno Smith, the Raiders are sitting at 1-4 after five weeks, tied for the second-worst record in the league.

Smith has been a turnover machine (nine interceptions), and the Raiders rank 30th in points per game (16.6). However, as bad as the quarterback has been, Coach Carroll doesn't think he's the problem.

If anything, he doesn't seem to be too satisfied with Chip Kelly's play-calling, and he wants to see more from the running game.
