Florida has been known for producing several of the nation's best athletes, undeniably elite high school talent, from legends like Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith, and Sylvia Fowles to present-day stars like Jeremiah Smith, and Cameron Boozer to flag football standouts Sarah Williams and Bella Burgess — the latter who's only in the 6th grade but headlining in Southwest Florida.

With that type of legendary and up-and-coming talent, it's easy to see why several of the state's top high schools are known as some of the best in the country when it comes to their athletic programs.
