CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police on Wednesday sent out an alert about a sexual exploitation incident in the North Lawndale community this week.

A young female student was walking to school between 8 and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the area of 16th Street and Homan Avenue, when a male suspect driving alone in a gray vehicle pulled up to her and exposed himself to her, CPD said.

The suspect continued to follow the student west for a couple of blocks before continuing west on 16th Street toward Pulaski Avenue, police said.
