Tulane junior point guard Rowan Brumbaugh was named American Conference preseason player of the year by the league’s coaches on Thursday.

Brumbaugh, the lone returning first-team all-conference selection from 2024-25, also was a unanimous pick for the first-team. He averaged 15.5 points and 4.8 assists last season—his first with the Green Wave after transferring from. Georgetown.
