PERU, N.Y. (ABC22/FOX44) - Three New York residents were arrested Tuesday during a traffic stop, where Plattsburgh police found cocaine, possible fentanyl and more.
This I-87 stop was part of a narcotics investigation led by Plattsburgh police. The New York State Police and some members of the Adirondack Narcotics Enforcement Until were also involved.
Officers searched the vehicle at the stop and found drug paraphernalia, about 3.86 ounces of cocaine, plus an amount of suspected fentanyl worth roughly $8,000.
Three people found inside the vehicle were arrested by Plattsburgh police.
These arrestees were identified as 20-year-old Mahogany Gause, of Albany, 38-year-old Taimeka McKiever, of Albany, and 36-year-old Heather Parker, of Plattsburgh.
