U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) continued to slam Republicans for not offering a plan to address rising costs of health care amid the ongoing government shutdown.
Greene criticized GOP leadership, including Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), for not offering any solutions to the rising costs of health care. Her criticism comes as Democrats have vowed to oppose any GOP spending bill that does not include an extension for health care subsidies, which are set to expire by the end of the year.
In comments to CNN’s Manu Raju on Wednesday, she blamed both Democrats and Republicans for health care issues. This comes more than a week after the federal government shut down after Congress failed to pass a spending agreement to fund the government past the Sept. 30 deadline.
