CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The University of North Carolina and head coach Bill Belichick have dismissed speculation about a possible split between the two sides.
Each side released a single sentence on the matter through the university's athletics page, affirming their commitment to the relationship.
"I'm fully committed to UNC Football and the program we're building here," Belichick said.
"Coach Belichick has the full support of the Department of Athletics and the University," Bubba Cunningham, UNC's director of athletics, said.
