Several members of the Kelce family have plenty of thoughts about Taylor Swift’s new raunchy song “Wood.”

The ninth track off Swift’s 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, is one of the many songs that the pop star wrote about fiancé Travis Kelce. While Swift starts out singing about superstitions, things turn sensual real quick.

“Forgive me, it sounds cocky / He ah-matized me and opened my eyes,” Swift sings in the chorus. “Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see / His love was the key that opened my thighs.”

While promoting The Life of a Showgirl, Swift opened up about the origins of “Wood” and how it started as an “innocent” idea.

“I brought this into the studio and I was like, ‘I wanna do sort of like a throwback kind of timeless-sounding song,’” Swift explained during an October 2025 app
