An audit of the city of Joplin released Thursday morning by State Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick's office concluded that Joplin city officials used emergency ordinances to prevent public comment on agenda items and obstruct transparency.
City officials declined to provide comment on the audit findings beyond a statement issued Thursday morning. ×
