CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - Fill With Hope will host its Pop, Drop & Give food drive Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at United Supermarkets in Canyon.

The event supports Canyon ISD students and families in need. Organizers say last year’s drive doubled the amount of food collected for local neighbors.

Fill With Hope currently serves about 1,600 students across the district’s 732 square miles and expects that number to grow by about 11% this year.

This year’s drive is held in partnership with David and Natascha Manley of PRO-Lift Garage Doors of Amarillo.

Requested donations include:

Pop-Tarts

Meat sticks

Capri Sun drinks

Granola bars

16-ounce jars of peanut butter

All contributions help provide weekend meals for students throughout Canyon ISD.
