Dante Moore was one of the most successful quarterbacks in Michigan high school state history.
In fact, Moore enjoyed Bryce Underwood-level achievements before Underwood came on scene a few years later to lead Belleville to consecutive Division 1 state championships.
Moore was a tall, skinny 150-pounder when he arrived at Detroit King, but he already had an offer from Michigan before stepping on his high school campus in 2019. Moore would go on to lead King to the Division 2 state championship game in 2019, a loss to Muskegon Mona Shores, then back again for Division 3 state title games in 2021 and ’22, wins over DeWitt and Muskegon.
