Is the third time the charm for Josh McDaniels in New England?
The Patriots' offensive coordinator has twice left his post in Foxboro to take an NFL head coach job -- first in 2009 with the Denver Broncos and again with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023. Both gigs lasted less than two full seasons, and both resulted in him returning to New England.

Which begs the question: Does McDaniels still have head coach aspirations, even as he works alongside talented young quarterback Drake Maye ?
While that question may seem premature just five games into his third stint with the Patriots, it was nonetheless posed to him Thursday afternoon at Gillette Stadium.
